I would go with an alpha for the cello holes,...

I would go with an alpha for the cello holes, this way you can bake down the string texture as well on the same texture, and use the alpha for that

I'm not sure what your AA settings are or what resolution your texture maps are but everything looks blurry. Are you adding DOF? What render-er are you using?

you can use Alveolus and turn the gradient Filled Cells off, or start with a Polygon 1 and blend different tile generators you offset with transform 2d until you get the proper pattern.

Really nice base, but i think the dark horizontal planks are too contrasting with the rest of the texture. I think you should adjust the lamination value, and try to get them not so close together.

For your marble I would suggest trying to rotate a few of the tiles to mix up the directionality of the veins. I can see you offset them but I think turning some would give better results.
