View Full Version : Parallax occlusion mapping in CE3!

Have been trying to get parallax mapping to work in Cryengine 3 now but dont get any result at all. Have the heoghtmap in the alpha of the normal but no dice!

CE3? no more alpha on the ddn. now u have to have the height map separately. same folder with _dspl suffix.

yup you need to load it in the custom slot and you'll be good to go.

No, the dspl is loaded automatically as long as it's the same place as the normal map. No need to load it even.

thanks think i might have missed the HQ setting on there and used it in a seprate files and only in the alpha channel
