Hello,
I have some questions about the cryengine.
1. If I want to paint my terrain with my own texture, do I have to make a material first (in 3ds max) then export it as .mtl, import it to the cryengine, convert the textures in photoshop to crytiff and load them into the material??
Or is there an easier and more direct way to do this?
2. I did a scene with collision proxys in 3ds max. The whole scene uses real world scales (One 3ds max Unit = one CryEngine Unit = 1 Meter). When I play the Scene, everythin looks too small! (Or the player is too big?!) Is it possible to change the player's size?
3. Regarding point 2, if it is not possible to change the player's size and the scales are too small, it would be preferable to do the blockout in the Cryengine itself and then export the primitives to 3ds max and in the end re-import them to the engine again. Is this possible?
Thx for help and advices to a CE3 beginner!
