Hey Polycount!
I've spent quite a bit of time on the site (it's my homepage :)) and I figured it's about time I posted some work!
I decided to make an old coke vending machine because it's such an icon in American history and it would give me the chance to really push my texture work. Any crits are welcome (and encouraged!) as it's not quite done and I want improve as much as possible.
Thanks!

Very nice.
Your shadows are purplish. Is this a style thing?

Thanks, in the first 4 images I might have gotten carried away with Marmoset's post processing. :)

Not a problem, I've been seeing this around, I was just wondering. At any rate, nice model. I find it hard to make rust over large surfaces seem convincing, but you've done well.

AHG! Im a coca-cola addict. I must say, love this! Very nice texture work, those old grungy things are always difficult to pull off. I do feel the de-saturation went a little too far (that distinct coca-cola red tint feels off) -or possibly the marmoset effects doing that, but it feels purple or a little salmon tone in there, try for more red and a little more saturation.. Where is ur reference? It looks a little thin/tall.. but I haven't seen a machine that old, so don't listen to me lol.

Yeah, it's looking kinda orange. As far as the size I agree, when I modeled it I was trying to get the proportions right and thought they were good but after seeing it textured, I'm starting to question the size :(.
I tweaked the saturation to bring out the reds more, I also scaled up the front logo and tweaked some of the decal sizes to try to make it look a bit wider.

Some parts are not worn enough and don't match the rest of it:

Also, some pieces look like plastic but are supposed to be metal.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out how I wanted to do the metal. I'll fix it up when I get home, probably drop it in UDK.

Ok, did a pass on the metal and put it in unreal. Thoughts?

Great textures! I dunno about the newest presentation though, those purple lights are blinding and taking my attention away from your props.
