her upper lip looks a bit strange to me where it meets the bottom lip

Her eye balls look to big to me. which makes her eye lids look weird in my opinion.
nice sculpt keep it up yo!

i like the concept. on the sculpt the eye lid and the jonction betwen upper and lower lips need work try to look at anatomic ref where you see the bones and muscle of the head that helped me alot. body proportions looks good to me.

ah the bone on the upper eyelids, i see its too pronounced or too bloated...cool cool. im working on the lower lips too

made some changes to the bone over the eyelid and added more anatomy to the legs and back

I'm not the best at giving crits but there are a few things I would like to point out. I think that her forearm has a little too much muscle definition, it makes it look like shes flexing. Her face also doesn't have the same characteristics as the reference, although that may be intentional. Also, some of the straps look like they are fused with the clothing underneath (The dagger and the straps on her thigh). Her but seems a bit flat too.

Her forearms are a bit too muscular for me, but other than that, I really want to see how you'll approach the texturing part

I think the line crease between her bum and thighs is too defined, almost like the belt is pushing it down alot. Try make the definition more subtle, and give it a rounder look. Here is a good example (I'll hyperlink it so it doesnt take up too much thread space)

Looking good! The arms are looking alot nicer, and the softer transition between her butt cheeks look more realistic (and not so skin tight!). Good choice taking out the boot straps, they might not have translated so well on the low poly.

i was gonna have the boot straps to be floaters, but not gonna be baked on. i was just adding some stuff on the high poly to see the silhouette with them floaters on. is it not a good idea/ concept to have them bootstraps at all? i thought it would be a good way to change up the silhouette on the lower legs

wait.. is this supposed to be a game model? your modeling out a lot of stuff that should be in the normal map and the hair is very high poly. well theres just extra edge loops in a lot of places.

The facetopology looks bad man to be honest. I can see you made the face out of a box, because now it just looks like a box in a shape and few circles around the eyes and mouth.

it wasnt made from a box, i used polydraw on it. ive maintined loops around the mouth, eyes and nose, youre focusing too much on the quads on the cheeks. i used this as a guide

btw on the example on the link you gave, i totally disagree with the edge loops on the cheek, it shouldnt loop like that at all. too many 3 edge verts on the cheeks

i'll reduce the amount of loops and round out some forms but ive already tested this out and it seems to be a really clean unwrap. i'll work on it some more.

Eyes need more work honestly. They are very important on female-characters. I kind-off feel like the arms should be a wee bit longer as well. I really like the texturing. The detail on the pants look really nice. Good work!

Hey man there is a lot of nice stuff going on here. I did a quit doodle for you that may help sell the eyes a bit more. They seem rather big honestly, I would probably shrink them a tad, but either way, using an alpha plane with a drop shadow will help recess them into the lids. Quick paintover to help illustrate:

The character is looking very nice so far, and the textures are working really well. I think you need to adjust the pose, her right elbow is too high. The arrow should be looking upwards at a slight angle and should be no higher than her chin. Have a look at olympic archers for references. Also the bow could use an 'arrow shelf' to steady the arrow. This could even be an extra strap of leather wrapped around that area.

small update, thanks for the suggestions!
-added eye lid shadow in the eye
-scaled the eyes smaller, tho squinting added to the effect
-changed the lighting to show more, less obscure
-changed the weights on the shoulder
-changed the thumb placement
-added a basic face rig, no phonemes tho
-adjusted the pose more, i will work on it more tho for the final renders

I think if you lift the corners of her mouth a bit and tweak her bottom lip so it doesn't look like she is pouting, it would look much more convincing,

besides that, her pose feels very stiff and unnatural, the straightened back has something to do with that, posing her upper body in a very award position. I'd suggest looking up more reference of people stalking while holding a bow or something similar.

The areanet art test looks awesome, one of the best ive come across.

Those re-renders are great aswell. Your portfolio images were kind of dark as far as o can remember and the new presentation shots are looking so much better

And that art test just made me want to work on something similar ;)

Awesome I love seeing character threads, definitely a subscribe.
All your characters are consistent and clean.

The space chick is coming out awesome, are the legs fully mechanical for space flight (like Starfox was conceptualized)?
