Just some 3D assets

Hey everybody it's been a long time since I have posted however I am getting my butt in gear and will be posting as much as I can! :).

The assets that I will be working on for now will be a leather club chair, a chest, and a Volvo dd-31 compactor

So for the chair I have made a LP mesh which will be imported into zbrush and made into HP. Then will make a new much more optimized LP for textures and performance here is what I have got done so far.

I think that couch looks kinda blocky and hard, I think you could afford to add some more tris in smart places to give it a more comfy look! Here's a good example of a low-poly chair:

I agree w/ Jessica. add those extra polys. I'll be interesting to see some nice looking textures on this :) I hope you post some more work soon .

I think the snake sculpt looks kinda neat...but it really doesn't look like it belongs on the chair. You got any reference for that sorta thing? Looks tacked on.

Hey guys thanks for the comments. The shape of the chair will be changing a lot it was meant as a sort of place holder which I will modify in Zbrush.

Hey everyone I have been working on some of my HP for the chair and here is what I have come up with I still have to fix some of the stitching :).

Still wondering if the snake thing looks good on the chair or if it just ugly I agree with gsokol that it is looking kinda tacked on what do you guys think should I add something new or just get rid of it completely?

the snakes will only look right in context...if the chair is for the lounge of an evil cult of rich guys, then yes! they can sit around sipping brandy and smoking cigars plotting the worlds demise... but the HP looks very nice!
