View Full Version : Dependency graph error with Blendshapes.

I am having problems with my blendshape rigging.I have added three blendshapes to my model for fixing deformation issues.When I wanted to add the fourth one,Maya says:
Error:problem occurred in the dependency graph setup.

I have spent two full days trying to figure out what went wrong.I suspect this has to do with modifying the smooth skin weights with the component editor after adding blendshapes.

Pls,is there any way to fix this or I have to start all over again?

Pls,I would appreciate some reply as I am almost nearing project deadline.

You should also check the hypergraph to see if there's something connected to the wrong place. Also, are you using the blendshape deformer with the Front of Chain setting?

No,I am using the blendshape deformer with a script by Erck Miller called hyperRealCorrectiveShape.mel.I think the script works with the parrallel setting.

Well, that's more problematic and it's quite unlikely that I can help here. I also don't think any game engine would support this method anyway, most people use helper bones and driven keys AFAIK.
