View Full Version : UV Map Error

I've been tweaking a model I'm working on and wound up with the "mesh has vertex UV indices but the count is not the same..." error in xNormal.

I understand what the problem is, but I don't know where it the problem resides or how to efficiently solve it. This is also happening on older model I made that I recently went back to rework.

For those of you who have encountered this, what is the best way I can locate the error? If I can find it rectifying will be easy.

e: I separated out a single part of my low poly mesh and applied a simple box map to it. I exported that from Max and xNormal is still telling me I have an error. What is going on?

e2: I tested an export with .obj instead of .ase. That worked, so I exported my model out as .obj and reimported to Max. I deleted the old version and I no longer have the error!
