My Cylinders arent showing up in the normal map for some reason.
the mesh is exploded and everything. I pushed the cage just enough to enclose the high.
These are max results, and i get the same results in xnormals
The high was exported from zbrush

It looks as though there is "something" rendered there.
You might not be getting many color gradations in your normal map because the difference between the actual curvature of your high poly and low poly cylinders might be very small, which is fine.
Does it look ok when applied to the low poly in a viewport or engine?

In the view port it seems to be doing its job, it just seems a little awkward having the big blank space int he normal map :/

I can see some wavyness there in that part of the normal map, so it's worked. It's just a plain cylindrical part right?
Could you highlight the faces on the model?

Yeah I think you've got it rendered properly. There's just not that much work for the normal map to do in that area so - less colors.

it just means that your low poly matches the high poly closely...
