That was neat. I heard about the space invaders thing before.
I have a hard time believing that they didn't make lara's boobs that big on purpose :p

Yeah this article's more parody than fact (duh it's Cracked after all). Lara's boobs were no slider accident and were only an issue/joke on the game's cover (ingame it's no big deal, or even noticably distracting), and Race & Chase/Dino was redesigned because playing as a cop doing routine cop tasks wasn't as fun as being on the run.

Circle strafe jumping is absent, somehow. But I guess that makes sense since modern games do without it.

Pretty interesting read - now I know why cops in the GTA series (my most fav being 3 and Vice City) go apeshit on you. Thanks for sharing!

what about bunnyhopping and circle strafing and all the other movement quirks some early fps engines had and some still have, that have become a big part of gameplay for the quake and team fortress games.
