When I opened up the forum page just now, it said "Welcome, Visceral" in the top bit (Just above the User CP link)... which is kind've strange, seeing as how that isn't me. When I clicked the name it set back to me, "GeeDave"... but, obviously then displayed Visceral's profile. I thought maybe it could be a minor bug for similar IP range or whatever? Sure, it makes no sense... but it happened, and I'm just wondering if anyone else is encountering anything odd?

Yeah. It's a known bug, it happens to a bunch of people. I don't think they know why yet.

We know why we're just not sure we can fix it.

It's a Wordpress Supercache issue stemming from the fact that our front page is Wordpress bridged to the Forum database (vBulletin).

If I ever click on the random name it always takes me to their public profile.

Yes, the public profile page... I wasn't technically logged in as Visceral, so I was not able to edit anything in his account or make threads that said "POO POO", safe in the knowledge that I'd never be found.

... Not that I would ever do such a thing. :)
