This is a maxscript I'm currently working on. If somebody wants to beta test, contact me via PM saying how much are you willing to pay. If you get it now, you will get it for free when its released.

that looks amazing obliviboy, I'd love to see how it handles more volumes with harder edges and nonsense - cylinders and square corners?
pretty cool would be interested in seeing how it can be applied to hard surfaces

looks interesting. How will this work with something more complex than a sphere?

Right now it just makes a mess of meshes with hard angles or have more complex geometry.
But I have a solution for this, it will make it retain the original topology and shape of both objects and just will connect them in a way that will produce all quads.
I will make a video when it's ready and working.

looks very interesting, you seriously should look at writing some native plugins. I've been using your chafer script and its great with the exception of its speed.
