Which book series is this?

It's a teen book series where some kid goes off on adventures (not sexy) with his uncle (I believe) who's some kind of secret agent or something. They have some kind of super techy digital watches that can do all sorts of fancy stuff that'll get them out of trouble and so on.

That's pretty much all I can remember though I loved the series way back in the day. Google gives me nothing, so - anyone know what this all is?

oh... hmm, must have been mid-late 80s I read those things.
I keep finding other series I read though, but not that one. Maybe I've got it wrong, maybe it wasn't a wristwatch.. but that's what I remember, they had like digital watches they could talk into and that could, I dunno, control electronic devices or something. Shoot lasers? I'm just guessing at this point

I think the only real scene I remember is a pub that had a shark aquarium..

I must have read those books a dozen times each yet I can't remember more... damn alzheimers :(
