Simple Control Center Scene

So I've been interested in getting into 3-d modeling a little more seriously as of late, so to try and get things done correctly, I'm starting off with a simple scene.
Here is the quick concept I drew up.

I plan to add a little more detail + lights.

If anyone has any tips, particularly on how I should go about unwrapping this (detach the screens?), that would be awesome.

Unwrapping is often done by hands. There are has been some method to get auto-unwrapping if you followed up by steps before adding more polygons. Like you could have unwrapped the cylinder before it has the screens all around it.
