Account Validation

Hey guys I'm new here and a cursory search didn't yield any useful info concerning when and how an account is verified. Does it take a few posts to be mod approved before allowing your posts to appear immediately?

Welcome to Polycount.

Well, to clear things up. Account approval requires a single post by the new member (such as you have just done). This post then sits in the moderation queue and an admin or moderator such as myself checks the new post and verifies that you are actually a human and not spamming WoW Gold or bootleg handbags.

Once your post has been approved, your account will be transferred to the "Polycount Members" list automatically by our system (usually within an hour). After that, you'll be free to post at will.

Thanks Emil, it seemed to take 3 posts for me before the account was validated. I was just worried that I did something wrong.
