Hey guys, so I've been working on a new level for the project, and we're trying to do a cliffside by the sea. Only thing is the rock that I've imported has got some weird shadowing appearing on it. Will be testing this out by itself in a fresh map later but I'm posting this in case someone may know why this is happening. I've checked to make sure nothings casting shadows on it, but doesn't seem to make any sort of change. (also tried turning off it's shadows, no luck)

Is that whole rock cliff one mesh? Looks like broken UV2s a bit to me.

Hey Bal, I've duplicated a single rock piece a couple times and did some non uniform scaling. That wouldnt be the cause would it?

How looks like your UVset on this rock ? No overlapping (with or without lightmap channel) ?

Froyok, double checked the UVs, they seem fine and unique. To test that the UV was alright I exported another copy with an automatic unwrap for the light channel so that every face was unique, but they still have the exact same shadow.
I suspect that it's either the way i'm overlapping them, or that something weird is casting its shadow on them, because they're fine on their own. Still need to investigate.

Fixed!
Apparantly it was the invisible part of the terrain that I hid that was still casting a shadow. So I just unticked the "cast shadow" option under the terrain properties.
Knew there was a stupid reason -_-
is this baked light or are these dynamic shadows? if so, is there anything in the scene that can cast a shadow onto these rocks?
