I always wanted to play Bungie's older games but don't have a old mac. I hear there is sheepshaver and Basilisk II but they seem to not be working on my pc. I am running windows 7 and would like to have a simple download from someone so i can just get going on to play these early mac games.
Anyone who can compile a sheepshaver or basilisk download that works it would be very helpful.

I can see if the version works that I have at home - I haven't tried it in ages.
You have a ROM file for it? I got mine from an old Quadra I owned. But success varies. Some old mac ROMs don't work well :/

EDIT lol, I didn't even read your post. Sorry. If you do need further help though I have an alternative solution that might work out.

It's not sooo difficult if you just want to emulate an intel mac or a 68k one. PPC is difficult though. I never found a good PPC emulator.

Running a Virtual Machine is the only option I know of, and that's WAY more complicated than what you are looking for.

I got Basilisk running to the point where it starts up and asks for a disk - I haven't had time to try installing macOS 7.
You need:
http://gwenole.beauchesne.info/projects/basilisk2/files/BasiliskII-1.0-0.20060501.1.win32.zip
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gladewin32/files/gtk%2B-win32-runtime/2.10.11/gtk-2.10.11-win32-1.exe/download
finally it was asking for a SDL.dll. I just copied the one from ScummVM into the Basilisk directory.
I tested this on Win7 x64

odd. must be the first time I can access a site which people from outside China cannot access. Usually it's the other way round. Anyway, I uploaded it to my website:

Ok now its asking for SDL.dll. Is that the thing you are telling me that the second link should help?
Why install the thing on your second link?

I took it from ScummVM.
GTK may be needed for the interface.
