Decal Methods

Hey guys. I know theres a few different methods for using decals Im not sure what is the easier method for what i what to do, havent done much with decals. I just have some white text logos that I want to place on walls that just have diffuse maps.

Right click in the content browser and create a decal material (Not a regular material). Do everything how you would normally do with a regular material.You probably want a mask or alpha for your text logo. Make sure you change the blend mode to masked.

Now in your level hold down D and click where you want your decal (or right click-add decal material). Use the non uniform scale to scale your decal to the size you want. Hope that helps.
