Was playing around at the WETA site today and stumbled on this bad boy coming first quarter 2011...The bad ass Exo Suit from District 9! A little pricey at almost $600.00 but man does it look nice.

This thing is a foot tall. Comparable WH40k models, Forgeworld Titans, also cost over $600.

So you'd pay 600$ for a single foot tall 40k model. I mean it is COOL but, come on, really? 600$ for something that sits there, doesn't interact does LOOK COOL, but will sit there and collect dust. I mean if it shot little fake rockets at people who came in your office or whatever, i would totally no problem pay 600$ for it.

not to make the thread more about the table...but I find the text under the price the most amusing part.

More expensive options?!?! What are they? The 2 inch riser plugs coming off the frame or was it Windex-ed by hand with the shroud of Turin by Ralph Lauren before being sealed hermetically in a cardboard box made of endangered albino redwood tree pulp? Insane.

There's no way I would ever pay 600 for this.

My point was that calling it a 40k model just reinforces the price point.

And that's not glass, it's a force field. The glass is used for photography purposes.
