So I just randomly started getting an error when importing stuff into my package in unreal.
Importer Warning: The object has no material reference (default texture will be applied).
Then in my package I get a static mesh with 0 tris and 0 verts. This happens to ANYTHING i import, including a regular cube from Maya...
Been using ActorX to export stuff and have never had this problem before, any ideas?

Here is a bit of an update.
Tried exporting from Max now and got this error:
Unsmooth groups processing: [0] vertices processing.
Warning: No valid skin tirangles digested (mesh may lack proper mapping of valid linkups)
wtf is this! it's just a decimated mesh from zbrush...

try resetting xform in max, apply a material to the mesh with a texture assigned to it (can be anything), and reexport.
if that fails, try exporting an obj, and importing it into a new scene & save the ase again?

Found a fix. Completely deleted and reinstalled the Actor X plug-ins..
I don't know if they became corrupted or what but this fixed the problem... I wonder what could corrupt both my max and maya plug ins at the same time?
Very strange problem.

ive seen those errors before because of skinning settings were unchecked by default in actor x. i was using dummies instead of bones and there's some option for unreferenced dummies.. something weird like that. one question tho, are u using ActorX to export Static meshes? or skeletal?
if that problem still persists, this documentation really helped me out.
