Just a thread to keep up with, show off, and get critique on my work. I'm new to modeling and really appreciate any advice you guys can give. I started this project after watching the racer AK tutorial and i think it really helped... enjoy :D

add more geometry to the cylinder forming the barrel
It ends up with only three edge for each dent, not enough to keep the roundness (and for some reason it seems you made it even flatter on purpose ?)

oh i plan on it lol...thats one of the most annoying parts of this gun to model though and i plan on saving that part for last...
is it possible to bake the tiny holes on the cylinder instead of hard modeling them into the surface?

updated pics..starting to piece together....the handle is a bit difficult to mold so ill have to refine that later...im content with having the shape for now.
can anybody tell me how i might be able to get the barrel tip details into my model?

Looking pretty solid. The handle kinda bugs me, maybe because it looks so soft (almost play-do like), and it contrasts too much with the rest of the gun.
