hey everybody.
i've been working on stuff for a game i'm planning to make. but decided to take a brake from that for now.
i love the way the imperial guard sentinals look so i decided to make one.

Looking forward to the result. Looks good so far. Got one laying around myself that i was working on. Had alot of problems with some areas. :)

When i look at the reference, the top section looks a bit thick.

Hmm, it looks a little unbalanced right now. The cockpit seems to be too far forward for the legs to keep it supported properly. The sentinel is supposed to be the Imperial Guards fast attack vehicle remember. Something to keep in mind!

doeseph: i've adjusted the cockpit alot again. i made it a little shallower and pushed it back a quite a bit. it seems to be a bit more ballanced right now. although i still need to change the position of the legs.

There's still nothing stopping it from falling flat on its face. It may actually be a flaw in the design of the original model. It's a bit hard to tell from the angle it's shot from.

Jackablade: it pretty much is cause i cant push it back any further
i dont think there really made for standing still anyways. :P

If you want to show off your model, make sure you don't hide the shape. Your gi-renders do just that, they need some specular!

MightyPea: thanks for the advice. i'll have to start playing around with the lighting some more. for now i'm just using one skylight :P.

looks good, you should post some wires.
1 shadow casting omni and low gloss hi spec material would make your render much much clearer.
