How many pages back is thread revival not okay? Like, if I posted a WIP thread in Pimping.Previews, but I haven't made any real major changes until now, can I repost to it if it's a few pages back? I don't mean 20 or something, but like 7, 8 pages maybe?

Just post on the original thread if it still exists. People do that all the time.

As long as you are updating the thread with new content, it's pretty much OK in general. :)

Well, just re-posting to an old thread in general, with updates or crits or whatever

I'm just used to other forums where they'd close to remove you from the forum if you posted on anything older than a week.
Good to know, thanks guys.

he asks this because I pointed him to a thread and someone called him a Thread necro... but that was my fault showing him a year old thread and asking him for comments on it. its that or part of the reason for this thread.

Yeah I suppose that too. But mainly I had this thread (http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?p=1090305#post1090305) that had went back a few pages, and was wondering whether people would be annoyed if posted my progress after it going back.
