I built a modular building, and between some of the pieces I'm getting weird shadows. I'm seeing it in many different areas where one building piece connects with another. Thought I'd ask if anyone knew what this was before I blindly start investigating through trial and error.

is this vertex lightmaps or texture lightmaps?

made lightmaps within UDK, but no change

maybe the dark pixels from the side are bleeding onto the front? try adding uv seam in lightmap there

I was wondering the same thing with my environment for a while now. There has been seams beteween the meshes and BSP surfaces. I found that it seemed to be related to the lights radius where the lights overlap or fail to do so. That produces some wierd lighting effects where the lights falloff just stops beteween seperate meshs regardless of what the falloff is set to.
