Woohoo! I am now officially part of the ever growing laid off workforce.

Sucks but whatever happens, happens for the best right?

Sorry to hear that, man. Shittiest time of year for that to happen. I've got to say that your attitude towards it is great, though - if nothing else, at least you've made a decision to try and remain positive. Much better than the alternative.

All the best finding a new gig.

It sure does!

Happened to me in Nov. Landed a few decent contracts that I wouldn't have been able to take on otherwise, 3d work no less!!

You'll be alright

Post's like this make me NOT want to get a job in the industry :( Maybe a full time job and just freelancing will be the way to go....

Anyway, you look like you got some talent, I'm sure you'll be picked up somewhere else in no time. Good luck!

Whatever happens, happens for a good cause.

I am pretty sure, Lord has better work placement for you.

And you will get it if you do not lose hope.

Thanks guys!

It's actually a very positive change in my life and I look forward to great things in the future.

I'll be happily moving back to Toronto sometime next week.

Cross country drive ahoy !

Thanks again for the support.
