oh hells yeah, my hair is receding in the front ala micheal ironside and the early signs of monk'ish helipad at the very top! my solution? razor the entire dome every two days :)

Might have to get that done..
my dad is in his 60's still has every hair on his head, wich are still 50% dark and colored, so im not too worried about mine falling out anytime soon.
though, im loosing alot of hair these days, everytime i take a brush through it, its filled up with hair, probably need more sleep and a good rest.

Yup, receding hair over here, too. Just keep it cut really short.
My wife's grandad is 88 and still has a full head of hair (all of it white). Her dad, though, is totally bald on top and does the comb-over; it is the most ridiculous thing you have ever seen.

that is quite beileveable, my mums dad was pretty much bald by the time he was 70..
my dad at 68 has way more hair .. and I have cousins from my mums side of the family that were bald by the time they were 40.. shit..

I've had a high widows peak since I was a teen. Don't think I'm losing any hair though - certainly none "falling out".

your supposed to lose 100 hairs a day, so losing a few here or there is not a huge deal.
I'm going bald as well. I use a regular razor when I shave my head btw It's comfortable enough for me. Is HeadBlade really more convenient?

I'm a pretty body hairless human. The previous generations of my family all kept their hair till the end. My grandpa went a few rounds with cancer/chemo and lost his hair, but it came back after the treatments stopped but it was a bit thinner.

My dad was bald by the time he was 21, and both my grandpa's were bald at an early age too. I'm 25 and still have all my hair, but it's quickly turning grey.
I guess you either lose the hair or lose the color.

My moms dad drolls and mumbles all day but still has quite some hairs so im optimistic.
Im not to shure tho how sitting infront of a computer all day affects genes even within
one generation.

So I can expect to go pretty bald except for the Caesar ring around the sides. It's begun! I'll buzz it one day.
my hair is just starting to go a little monkish at the back, which sucks, but I can't really see the back of my head which is cool.
slowly receding at front, jack nicholson style.
a good tip is to tie your ear hair to your comb over - it will never go askew and you need n't ever wax your hair.

Started going thin down the middle about 4 or 5 years ago. Pretended to ignore it for about a year, then got my hair cut short for about a year. Finally, said fuck it about three years ago and just shaved my head, only keeping the eyebrows and goatee. Been rocking the shaved look since and loving it.

Yeah. My hairs are abandoning my head like rats off a sinking ship. Within a couple years I'll be badly receding / Kevin Spacey. I was shaving my head there for 6-8 months, but everybody(especially women) kept saying "I like you better with hair" so...

actually, this is pretty likely.
They already tested out putting some stem cells on contact lenses, and then wearing those lenses for a few months (probably swapped em out with new ones a lot). And it freaking cured some people's blindness. So cool.

It's a random thing. Your dad/mom can have a full head of hair with the shiny locks of a Viking, and you can be bald as a baby's ass by 22.
You would have to go back a few generations of blood relatives, see what degree of baldness each one is/was at, and see if you're gonna go bald and to what degree.

Everytime I get my haircut the hairdresser will comment on how thick my hair is, and tell me that I will never go bald. To top that off, my mother's father had the exact same type of hair, and had a full head of hair his whole life.
Even if the mother's father thing is bullshit, nobody in my dad's family is bald either.. Their hairline's seem to receed a little bit, but never enough to start declaring baldness.
Being bald is the last thing I need to worry about. Disease, yes. Baldness, no.

Not that I would have something to complain about, but I remember being really freaked out about 3 or 4 years ago, when I noticed that my hair comes off really easily. when I pulled bunch of hair, there were always like 5-7 hair left in my fingers (thatīs when I figured why my chinchilla doesnīt like when I pull his fur when heīs got "bad hair day". shouldnīt have spilled that glass of wine all over himself...). But fortunately I figured that it started right after I started using a shower gel. So I came back to good old soap and my problem was solved. That also brings me to my uncle who lost almost all his hair due to his shampoo possession. True story.

i remer one when arshlevon came to work with half his head shaved, and on the shaved half he had one square of hair on the side, and on the side with hair he had a square the same size but it was bald.
my hair started going the way of bruce willis when i was 18 so i did the same thing he did, cut all that shit off

My hairline is slowly receeding in to a widower's peak, though it's always been fair- I had a grade 1 jobby done last week, and noticed that the 2 balding points going up toward the top of my head are getting more pronounced.... and I seem to be growing more hair on my shoulders and everywhere else... it's like a second puberty but without the random errections :)

yea mine started thinning around 18 and i look crappy with a shaved head, so when i turned 20 i started taking finpecia. its pretty cheap and its stopped the hair loss, u just gotta remember to take it every day or 2. im 24 now and my hair looks the same, if i didnt take the stuff i would definitely be bald as fuck right now.

hmm shaving your hair is no solution, you can still see the bits where you are bald cause of the bluey shadow the stubble leaves.

I shaved since 15 because my dad was getting bald, but suddenly their hair stop to fallen, but I still shaving. Actually, I have bigger widows peaks (didnīt know that word), than my dad...i think itīs because of the sun burn/constantly shaving, etc..Curiously my beard grows fast as hell...and I quit to shave my beard this last months. Iīm like the new Max Payne. :-p

yeah it seems the faster you lose on top the quicker your beard will grow i can grow my beard nice and thick in just a couple weeks, i wish i've had a photo montage of my beards over the years, i always do different cuttings and styles,, a couple years ago when i was doint eh pro wrestling gig, i had the old civil war mutton chops, crazzzy huge and busy
