get ACDSee
It comes with "PicAView
When you right click an image file it shows you a thumbnail and the image's size and it's bits.

not really what i was looking for, thanks anywayThere is something, it allows Windows to "see" tga's like it does BMP/JPG/etc. I used it a few years ago... time to go hunting. brb.

I use Mysticthumbs (http://mysticcoder.net/mysticthumbs/) and it shows all that jazz.
To see the size you can just hover your mouse over the image and it pops up along with the pixel depth and pixel format.
Hope that helps :)

I cant see why i wouldn't work in XP though...i will give it a go in XP later to see if i can get it to work.
Did you reboot after the install?

I installed Mystic thumb, and was able to see my tga's now. But my psd are still not showing anything but the normal icon. Is there a program that handles both in thumbnail viewer for both? Thanks in advance for the help.

PSD definitely works with MysticThumbs as well, but i did notice it takes a while to cache the images if there quite a few in the folder.

yeah my experience is the same, no dimensions of files on hover in XP.
