View Full Version : Max co-ords not showing

I have this very weird problem in max 2009, whenever I select the object and try and type in coordinates in the x,y,z boxes they are all zero and don't respond when I type in new values. This happens when trying to adjust the pivot too.

It happens very randomly, I can be working for half an hour with a scene and then this suddenly happens for all the objects in the scene. Has this happened to anyone and do you know how to fix it?

Solved - I had all the objects in 'Local' co-ordinate mode lol

I've had that happen to me a few times. I can't remember what caused it but restarting max fixed it. It might have been caused by having the pivot set to local or I might have been using working pivot when it dorked out...

Edit: err yea local pivot it is I guess. HA!

I just had a stupid issue with the UV editor where non of my settings would save and it would keep switching to UV Channel 2, and if i switched to 1 or well both, my UVs weren't correct. So I went to an autobak and saved out my UV's and then after that everything saved and was all good.
