Hello guys, i am a new member here at polycount. Just been a silent visitor for a long time, but never got the time to post. So I thought I will open up my own sketchbook thread. I will be throwing in my 2d and 3d artwork...

Started using the demo soldier in zbrush, I would like some comments on this.I want to post it in my gallery after I receive some comments

Afro gorilla guy looks like he mated with the Thing. lol. Sorry just had to say first thing that came to mind. Wolverine turned out dope.

Mr. Bond and your paintings are superb. Great attention to detail. The bones in the hands is spot on. Solid start.

Thanks for the reply A.Kincade. Wolverine was one of my earliest works.

Anyway, here's a rendered version of the gorilla rapper. Hope you guys like it.

The lighting and the normals turned out well with this. The pants and shoes look really sick. Nice pose and solid proportions.

He looks pretty statuesque. Not sure if that's what you were going for. If so looks good. If not maybe change to coloring of the afro so it does not blend in with the rest of the body.

I'd say the pants and shoes area looks almost better in some way. You can see the nrms a lot better and the texture work seems like you put more time into them.

Otherwise I like it. Very solid piece. Fun to look at.
