Hi everyone,
I would like to get a honest critique of my portfolio. I was hoping for some feedback on the work itself and some ideas about how I could make my website design better. Thanks in advance.

I like the layout. Over-all pretty nice, but I do have some crits-
I think you should make the Contact, Resume, etc. buttons bitmaps like your title button. The raw underlined text looks kinda funky on the orange background.
Your texture work looks good, but some of your portfolio pieces tend to have too much dead space in my opinion. Scale your renders up to fill in the space, so we can see more detail in the textures. I feel like your 2D art section isn't really helping you... Do you have any examples of traditional paintings you've done or anything like that?
Hope this helps!

might also help to see texture flats and wires, to see your poly distribution as well as your skills in laying out efficient uv's. Good stuff, when you worked at N-space, did you work alongside Chris Hayes? :D
Remove the white flash anim between pictures - just make then pop instantly!
Good stuff!

Thank you for the replies. valid points about the website, format, adding uv layouts and wireframes.
Nate- Good call on using bit maps and zooming up some of the images to fill out the space more . Re-thinking the 2d section is a good idea too.
Dekard- valid points about the website, format, adding uv layouts and wireframes. I do remember Chris I believe that he was part of the cinematics team when I was working there.
Pior -thanks for the comments. Your work is always inspiring to me.
