Hey guys im not one to complain too much but recently for me these forums have gotten filled with stupid mindless post's like the one im writing now :S

I know this post makes me somewhat a crybaby but i just had to say theres been alot of stupid idiotic posts that i think clutter up posts that deserve more attention case in point general discussion forum heres a few examples of stupid post on the first page:

i know this is general discussion but i think there should be an off-topic area or even a sticky for these kind of mindless stupid posts.

Its not just General discussion being overrun by needless posts. but also P&P which gets its fair share of needless posts:

I know the admins/Mods are doing there fair share of work trying to clean up these forums and its gotten alot better from its early days :)

My only suggestion is we should just make a sticky for people to throw there random crazy thoughts into. this post would fit perfectly in an off-topic sticky or forum and so would all those other crazy threads.

thats all i wanted to say, To note most of those threads were locked which is a good thing but it doesn't stop people from making other stupid threads.

I've observed a pattern. I noticed that in 5 out of 7 of the threads you linked, pliang was one of the earliest to reply. In fact, 4 out of 7 he was either the 1st or 2nd to reply. In fact, in one thread in which he was first to reply...he also linked to another thread, also on your list, in which he was first to reply.

Perhaps it's because school is out, as it seems to often begin as school lets out, or any other reasons...but many of us here on PC have too much time on our hands, and not enough good content to show in P&P.

Three of those are closed, one is for posting jokes (you know, things that make you laugh), and one is by kp about Titan Quest (sort of). Since he worked on Titan Quest I'd say he gets to keep it. As for brome, it was painfully obvious from the get-go that he was special. Painful enough that you could feel it, 'cause he was probably pulling your hair and screaming.

So if you only have issues with two threads, you've got more issues in your head.

Well we get these sorta posts every year or so, and THIS IS THE RANDOM FORUM.. Not 100% anything and everything goes.. But there are a lot of off-topic posts.

New forums get debated over a lot. We have what we need. People alwasy bring up a random forum idea but it's not needed. An occasional explosion of angst/debate/craziness happens. It's post-E3 so there are people who have been crunching for a while and blow off some steam or just act goofy from stress. Randomness happens..

Be proactive, this is your forum as much as it is mine. If you're seeing some things happening that you're questioning tell us privately so you can avoid the masses filling your post up with the replies like the ones above this one.

This animation needs some work, there's no anticipation in the movement, the timing is off with the character on the left. The center of gravity looks good on both the characters have strong poses. keep it up!

It's not like someone is forcing your mouse to click on it. Obviously there are some exceptions, like people spamming shit.

Anyways, I'll stop there and probably won't post on this any more. I know you've been working your ass off to improve polycount Adam, as have several others around here, so I'll leave it in your capable hands. This is just my two cents.
