Dan has been creating some videos of new/updated features from the Silo Beta releases (with approval).
http://www.danielelliott.co.uk/ (scroll down).
The new retopology tool used with surface snapping works really nicely, and the updated UV tools bring some useful features, such as recreate UVs based on neighbours and calculate symmetry (which allows you to mirroring unique UVs at will)

I'm drooling already. Can't wait for the new version, the videos look pretty awesome. I wish I modeled more so I could use it more. Its a pure joy to use it, a really great tool.
Thanks for being a front runner in supporting it like you have.

No idea on a release, but the Betas are fairly solid. I suggest just keeping an eye on their news forum: http://www.silo3d.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=15
Vig - I support it because in my opinion it IS the best organic modelling package out there. It's not a replacement for Max or Maya or XSI or whatever since it lacks rendering and bones and animation etc., but what it does do, it does well. It's the Wolverine of modelling.

Jesus christ, some of these new ones are awful. The first one (uv) was nice, but the Symmetry one is loud, has no focus and fails to mention the most important things.
Anyway, that's just me being grumpy. it's nice of the guy to show off some new stuff
