mesh is 12000 tris at the moment, also lacking dreads and the inner mouth piece which I will need to do. also going to reduce the mesh to around 9000-10000 tris

ow that's pretty hot! i love the highpoly! you could probably get rid of some tris on the tail, there is one area that is very dense.

tried doing something different(a caricature). tbh I dont think it came out at all like I was intending, but oh well.

:D That's really cool, I love seeing this sort of stuff. I think if you spend some more time on it refining shapes a bit further, it will look really wicked. You're almost there, please keep going with it!

hahah, that's awesome. Like fogmann said, it just needs some more adjustment. For instance, she looks like she has about 50 teeth ;) But otherwise you have the ressemblance enough for everyone to know who it is :D

still need to do more work on the tail and start the dreads but its mostly done aside from tweaking/fixing seams. im quite overbudget on the polycount, but i ran into too many normal/shading issues when trying to make lower poly dreads so thought id just bump it up

these are crazy cool. I'm worried about that dinosaur though, he looks like he's gonna fall on his face ;)

wow those are quality sculpts! good work. I should also say I think the old render of the dinosaur was better because the lighting showed more of the detail and didnt have such unrealistic dark black shadows.

thanks! the first render had sss. a professor actually thought it was lacking because it looked rather flat, which is why I went for the the second one. go figure :)

been meaning to do more but only done the retopo and feet/hands. damn dow2 beta eating up my time!

two things you should look at on your zbrush sculpts are the lips and ears.

the lips seem a little flat and you should carve out the top of the ear a little more so it's not attached to the side of his head.

besides that they look great ^_^

As far as Ged's comment is concerned, the original model is more realistic, but artistically your updated presentation is much more aesthetically pleasing and artistically dramatic, I like it =D

I tend to ignore ears on these quick heads but yeah need to work on mouths much more

quick frog from zpheres, was going to try retoppoing in 3dcoat but it kept crashing. too lazy to retoppo in zbrush

http://uppix.net/e/c/d/491f96b111b21a390a0301f5e7266.jpg

and a bull with big balls(from the base bull mesh)! giving mudbox a proper test, quite like some aspects but it will definitely be complimenting rather than replacing zb for me
