Hey, buddy linky please. LOL
Some people might be too lazy, me, to look for it
or might not know where this is. (not sure how plausible it is)
Great job as usual.

Sage: http://www.crazybump.com ;)
Hey Ryan, does this reset the demo-period, or at least continue the demo-period from where it was started? I've still got a few days on the first demo, and I don't want to install this to be told "you've already tried Crazybump, now closing. And also: fuck you"

@Sage: Thanks! It is now fixed!
@MightyPea: It continues the demo period, without resetting. (I'll PM you an extension, so you can play with the new stuff.)

$299 for proffessional version makes me a sad panda, very sad.
Its's a great tool, but it's a $100 or less tool.

Thanks for your advice! Are you working solo, or for a studio?
Most professional studios are happy to spend $299 for a tool like CrazyBump. It helps artists work more quickly, and that saves a lot of money.
As a quick calculation, consider the value of an artist's salary, benefits and office space. Then figure how much time CrazyBump would save over the length of a project. Then multiply. For most studios, the product is in the thousands, so they see CrazyBump as a good investment.
If your studio director is unconvinced, try showing her the "fast materials with crazybump" video, at http://crazybump.com/video
OTOH, if you're working solo on an independent (ie non-publisher-funded) project, please drop me an email. Indie licenses are available on a case-by-case basis for such projects!

The price system for the personal license is alright, it's just if you have 8+ artists(which we're well over) so the $300(yeah there are discounts for the bulk) just seems a bit of a jump, especially when I use it for one thing, normal maps, and usually treat those afterwards; it's a great program, but it's not photoshop or a 3d ap.
But seeing as I am a tight wad, most people in the studio didn't think the price was all that bad, so yay for us, hehe.

Just think of it as a little bit of repayment for well over a years free use of the software ;)

We use it at Turn10. Swanky updates Ryan, thanks!
