Well, this just about equates to the bestest damn thing for me, ever :D
So here goes my wip animation reel, il try to keep it so that each page isnt too much of a bandwidth whore.
1st up are my brilliant failings in Maya so far ;)
This was my 1st foray into Maya after wrestling with Max for not long enough ;)
On another note going to try smaller qts as they seem to lag like hell, and I know for a fact it aint my shiny new vista's fault ;) (total page memory;<1meg)

Brilliant so I know it works, Cheers Adam!
Im just gonna let this crap speak for its self now, even if every1 is fairly mute il still keep at it, if only for a personal referenace thingy thats online.

Heres something I've wanted to be able to do for a long time and ive figured it out in Maya now. A sort of progression of the animation, just like how you can show a wip to the final but animated ;)
Blocking- spent a whole day because I didnt know how to model in Maya, or constraints, or to save often ;p
Heres the next days progress, getting to grips with Maya's curve editor and dopesheet, liking them alot but I'm pining for an XSI overhaul on the dopesheet atleast ;p
A few hours later, getting really really happy with the lower half now, Going to pummel the upper half until it bleeds!

looks great! isn't there a way to make the movies loop? because it's kindof annoying to have to click the play button every second ;). keep it up!

Yeah Japhir I've already commented on that looks like Adam will be removing quicktime altogether I think.
Anyways todays update ;) getting happier with it, just need to kick the shit out the shotty an bring it back a little and I think itl almost be ready for the reel! (heh)
On another note ive buggered up on the hierechy between moom and the gun so I cant have 2 mooms and 2 guns, lol. Ah well, its all a learning curve ;)
