Figure I'll start my humble sketchbook with this guy. Just a quick weekend practice piece. I may get around to adding hair and making a proper spec map.

Nicely done, could use a bit more polies here and there to round stuff out. Is it selfportrait?

you know what really impresses me about about this piece... the blemishes in the skin, I'm so happy you went for that and didn't try to heroically beautify the skin. whether its a self portrait or not, its really excellent. The detail in the skin like that makes it feel really human. King's to you sir.
Wow. That's a damn fine head. agree with buddy about the rounding of the top, but nicely done sir.

Hey, thanks guys. Nah, it's not a self portrait... it started out as one of the random people off of 3d.sk. It is a bit low poly but I sort of wanted to see how far a normal map could carry something with that little geometry.
Here's another head (ignore the hair, I hastily scribbled that in) and a doodle I'd like to get finished eventually.
As always comments and crits are welcome.
Another good head with the old guy, the neck folds seem a bit off to me, and that sculpt looks promising.
