Heyo, long time no post. I decided to join that little challenge and I'm going for hellknight monster from DOOM3.

For sure. Killer mesh.
I was looking at the origional Half-life specs and discovered that every model in this challenge has one third of the polys used in halflife. Pretty amazing considering how much better all these models look.
Now your texture needs to beat Mop's offerings /images/graemlins/wink.gif
Mesh looks great, you managed to get the thumbs and mouth in too, I must be doing something wrong with mine! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Good start on the texture, looking forward to seeing this finished /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice, but i think it looks very dirty, try to put more color in your shadeing.

i decided for desaturated skin to make the blood really pop. think thats working good.
texture needs to be cleaned up and needs some more shading and contrast in shading. I think that will make the features more clear

upped ambient occlusion a bit so the shape is better defined at small size. I'm pretty happy with it now ... 'bout time /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Awesome work. I think it could use a bit more lighter grey in places, at the moment it lacks highlights in some of the muscle forms. Still looks sweet though.

yeah a touch of the ol' doom 3 specular would go a long way, but great work /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Awesome work, but like they say, just add some strong speculars and it will be top-notch!

never spent so much time on a 128, but learnt bodypaint in the process so it was all worth it.
