I was just talking with my girlfriend about the new Indy Jones film, and she wanted to know when exactly it was coming out. So, I go to Dark Horizons and check out the reelases coming up this year. Holy fuck. I knew there were a number of flicks I wanted to see, but I'm gonna go broke by the end of summer. This is what I'm up for so far:

Jumper- Feb 14
City of Men - Feb 29

10,000 BC - Mar 7

The Forbidden Kingodm - Apr 18

Iron Man - May 2
Speed Racer - May 9
Prince Caspian - May 16
Indy 4 - May 22

Incredible Hulk - Jun 13
Wall-E - Jun 27

Hellboy 2 - Jul 11
Dark Knight - Jul 18
X-Flies 2 - Jul 25

There's a break after that, but the year wraps with new James Bond, Harry Potter and Star Trek flicks. The Forbidden Kingdom is my sleeper pick for badass movie of the year - Jet Li and Jackie Chan, choreographed by Yuen Woo-ping! Man, I'm all excited just thinking about it!!

Sooo, what films are you guys looking foward to this year?

Yeah all kinds of good movies coming. Plus we just had Rambo and Cloverfield early on in the year.

Shaping up to be some good releases.

Jumper? Christ. I thought Sisqo had retired.

Didn't realise Hulk was out this year, so that's going to rock hard.

Regarding 10,000 BC. I don't think I'll be lining up to see a movie from guys with Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow on their resume.

I'm just looking for movies without a 2-3-4-5 or 6 in their titles. So hopefully we'll see some new scripts. With the writers strike still going on theres good potential for indie film on both sides of the border here. Canadians have really upped their production values but more importantly indie flicks tend to be original, which is more of a reason to see them even if they do suck from time to time.

Wall-E is all I'm looking forward to.
Nothing else looks very appealing except maybe Dark Knight.

I did see the trailer, and i would have put it on a different list, entitled 'looking forward to not watching'
