Hi, first post here and I have to say I really like the look of this forum. Looks like theres a lot of great folk and valuable info goin down.

My Name is Aaron Cross and Im based in New Zealand. My short term goals are keeping the wolves from the door as a general 3d artist, and my mid to longterm goals are to head to Australia to escape the single digit temperatures. Ive been all in doing 3d work for the last two years, and I first got my feet wet about 10 years back. Im fully available for paid contract work of any size. Anyways, heres some links, they will require the Unity plugin, and once you have the plugin, these demos will work on pc or mac, with the exception of "the Oasis" (it is Mac-only) Cheers y'all.

I wouldnt recommend requiring some third party plugin just for people to view your work, you want people to isntantly see it, not be annoyed and ignore it because it wont load for them.

Maybe, like, JPEGs or something then? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

.mov for videos seems pretty popular.

wow , 21 megs for 8 jpegs. make it easy for your viewer by having them on line or reduce the size of your jpegs.I rarely have more than 4 megs of jpegs

dude just make a gallery with thumbnails linking to the images, simple as that, right now as it is no smart employer would want anything with you.

lol its even worse now, it requires a plugin and crashes my firefox, why is it so hard to make a simple gallery /images/graemlins/wink.gif ?

I forgot to make this post but I had the EXACT same issues when using Firefox and IE on your website...its a shame it crashes now instead of being able to even look at it.

Definitely try and simplify whatever you have on there as of now and just use several gallery archives or something...every time I go on a site with 3rd party display plugins and Quicktime videos my browser dies when it's done loading.

Ditch scripts and plugins. The purpose of your site is to get work. That should be it's only purpose.

mmm. Points taken...So you guys are getting crashes with firefox on windows, right?

It will get a facelift at some not-too-distant stage.
Cheers for taking a look

The point is that it would be a loe more opportune to first get rid of the plugins required and just keep a simple image gallery if you can...
