I've only seen outdated junk. I don't think anyone can be bothered writing one for a bunch of reasons, the main probably being its such a small market and everyone is using different software packages. Plus we spend all our time on the computer anyway so its easier to look shit up on polycount then going to the library.

Look for Character 2, that's prolly the one you're looking for but why not just spend some time on Polycount or better yet post your stuff and take advice as you go???

The downside with print is that its frozen in time. Our industry and our tools are constantly evolving, and what was "right" some months ago might be obsolete tomorrow.

This community is the home of a great deal of talented individuals, who are able (and willing) to give you detailed and specific answers to every question you might have. Also, there's a lot of good tutorials online, both by members of this community and others.
