I don't know if any of you guys are pumpkins heads or who missed this or not... there were rumors flying around a long time ago and they went public about it not long ago! /images/graemlins/smile.gif The new single is out and it sounds great!

Check it out!

The Smashing Pumpkins was my favorite band for years, since the siamese dream days.
I saw em about 5 times over their career, wasn't too hot on the last 3 albums, but the new single sounds like they're rockin' again(this is the first time I got to hear it all the way through, so thanks!).

Hopefully the rest of the album sounds as good or better, sucks that Iha isn't joining in though.

Was a huge fan of their first two albums, then saw them live and Billy Corgan was just a huge fucking dick with a bad attitude. Bad show. Taunting the crowd just isn't cool. Wasn't a fan after that.

I'll echo Ryno about being a fan of the first couple of albums, after that all their stuff just put me into a Coma. Music aint bad but Corgan's voice irritates the fuck outta me.

I really like a few of their songs, but I've never been much of a fan. I'd be more excited to hear that RATM are working on a new album... ever since their reunion earlier this year, I've been crossing my fingers.

Yeah, when I first heard of the album Zeitgeist I figured it was just another best of, but to my surprise it was a new album and Jimmy Chamberlin and Corgan were getting the band back together, although Iha and D'Arcy will not be rejoining.

I like the sound, granted my favorite album was Adore, because it had a blend of so many different sounds throughout the album, but yes, this is a nice sound to it. I can't wait to hear it processed, because let's face it, Corgan's voice sounds much better once it's been through a studio.

It's a pretty good song but im not sure they will ever have it like they did back in the day . Kinda like Metallica after the black album they are still good but nothing like they were back in the day. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness will still be the best but i'll defiantly buy there new stuff I have always been a pumpkin fan
