So I've finally landed my first industry job as a freelance artist for Liquid Development. I'm still working on getting into a full time studio gig but I am working on some pretty cool titles right now so I'm happy for a while.
Thanks to all you guys for your support, help, crits, and ass chewings at times.

Jesse thats awesome dude. I started out on contract and it worked great. Actually Liquid was the last contract I had before coming to Threewave.

Awesome dude, much congrats, it is very well earned.
It's always awesome seeing a polycounter going pro. I know a year ago when I was not in the biz, workin on my portfolio in my free time, seeing topics like this helped my morale.

Again thanks guys. I'm pretty stoked to get started. I'm already done with a few things and moving on to more. Been working like a crazy man. Personal projects have taken a back seat for a while but that is ok with me.

Congrats, man. LD is where I got my start. It can be a great portfolio/resume builder. Just remember to always ask for 3x what you would like to be paid for a project and get out at your first opportunity /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Awesome. I just found this site and I haven't touched any 3D software in years, but I'm trying to learn. Seeing stuff like this is inspiring.
