This thread just stole a bunch of my time lol, following up on the Olympic Mascot, watching the making of the blocks video and watching the lecture on the future of gaming.

The Bear is hilarious - there's loads more on the creator Michael Barrick's (http://mbarrick.livejournal.com/) website.

The Lecture is pretty Epic, not too sure about the final 5 minutes, or the conclusion reached, but the beginning and middle are rock solud.

The whole Elastic Velvet rope analagy was spot on, as was the comparison of the Ipad to a giant swiss army knife (meaning a swiss army knife is useful as a pocket sized thing, but if you organised all your kitchen utensils into a giant 3 foot long swiss-army knife style device, they wouldn't be all that useful, pocket sized or convenient )

karate and kungfuTo be fair (but who wants to be fair with lame movies) the name in the new movie comes from Jackie Chan calling Daniel-san (who I suppose isn't Daniel-san any more) "The Karate Kid" because when he begins to train him he only knows a few crappy moves who learnt in a karate class back in the US.

Because knowing is half the battle. I imagine the other half involves avoiding this movie like the plague.
