this is kinda weird - I was googling around boredly and found this old 2D animation video I had done in my senior year of college, hosted on a random site at school. I guess someone got the video from the animation department to pad their site! Anyway, I thought I would show it here.

It was 2 years ago and feels like a lot more - my photoshop painting skills have come a long way and I've learned not to attempt animating figures anymore (cf. the hand at the end... embarassing) but there's still some stuff I liked. It's about 2 minutes long and intentionally slow-paced. I was trying to create a sense of history and the passage of time in an imaginary landscape/place.

Maybe someone will get a kick out of it. All the art was photoshop and composited and animated in After Effects.

Pretty cool stuff. I'd have to say my favorite is the up-shot from the bed of the truck.

That's kind of cool. I can't say I'm a big fan of all the recycling that went on or the slow pace but still the art is pretty good. It reminds me a lot of Ninjai (http://www.ninjai.com/).
