So, met up with Gauss and after a few beers I started rambling on about models I had made while I was drunk. Hehe, I suppose I thought it was a good idea to put out to other alcoholic polycounters for a bit of drunken fun.

So, here is the challenge.
Step 1. Get wasted - 5 beer minimum
Step 2. Model somthing in an hour
Step 3. Save (I have lost many a drunken model by forgetting to save)
Step 4. Sleep
Step 5. Wake up the next morning and marvel at your creation.
Step 6. Pimp!

Perhaps it could only come from an Aussie, where our national sport is drinking, but I think it is a damn good idea. And on that note! Cheers!

P.S. Probably best to do with a friend. Drinking alone is not encouraged.

So, not gonna pimp any of your own to get this thread going? Not much of a pimp thread without any images...

Right you are mop. This guy was whipped up while quite smashed (and I would have to say he is one of my favorite models ever!). http://files.openfrag.org/Members/smirnoffka/bah.jpg

Hey, I even made a walk cycle!

Total time taken, bout 1.3 hours.

I am a sad, strange little Aussie.

EDIT: Oh, and autoback is a wonderful thing, /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I don't know about you guys, but when I'm drunk the last thing I feel like doing is modeling. Way too technical. However I'll sketch and play with sculpey.

Thats just as good, anything artistic. The artistic drunk mind is good. Jackablade, just went around melbourne for the day, I think he is there for another few days at least, so there is still time to catch up with him.

Gauss in Melbourne? Should have a polycounter session somewhere while he's still around. Could learn a thing or two from him I reckon.
As for the actual thread topic... What about those of us that don't drink?

Last decent thing I did while drunk was a paintover of this model I made. (The model isn't textured). It was a load of fun, and I wasn't SMASHED (4 beers IIRC)
