Irony: Linking to a video that Microsoft doesn't want you to see, that requires a browser made by said company.
That's how important it is that no one see it. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
That's pretty funny.
What's even better is this, which was referenced on that google video page: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4077451204789440566
SO COOL!

Hawken: Have you had any problems with playing games with XGL? I haven't been able to get around to enabling XGL yet, but I've read some people complaining aobut gaming with XGL setups. I'm trying to get a MythTV box going and that's a pain in the ass in itself. I don't want to get it going, then have problems getting it to function with XGL :/

We have a corp eval copy to play around with and it looks like they've made some vast improvements...for installation they don't use the 30-45min "hardware wizard", they just copy the DVD straight to the drive and let the device manager handle hardware installation. Error logging and troubleshooting is vastly improved and networking is looking very promising so I'm looking forward to it from a supporting my products standpoint /images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is obligatory. Remember the 98 demonstration with the bluescreen when he demonstrates Plug&Play? Remember the 2k demo that got hit by an earthquake toppling the huge screen they had? God hates Microsoft.

i like those desktops, can't wait until these are becoming a standard. as soon as everyone will be wasting time and system resources to move around some 3d cube and watch funky effects, i'll stay productive and save heaps of time with a conventional ui, thus leave work early and have more free time to stare at tits. give me those over transition-effects any day.
