This is the latest model I've been working on. His mesh is pretty much done. I wanted to post him and get some feed back before I move on to normal maps and texture. The model isn't smoothed or merged together yet so I can make any fixes easily. Let me know what you think.

The only thing which I don't like about this guy is the blade sticking out of his helmet. It looks kind of silly. In real life it would never work because the blade's weight would constantly keep on tipping the helmet forward. Even if you strapped the helmet down, it would likely be more trouble in the end. As you can see, he is already gasping for air /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Nice work otherwise.

You have a LOT of perfect squares and rectangles in that model. Don't be afraid to pull thse verts aroun to make the shapes more organic and curvy.

I was about to get started on modeling the motorcycle and monster can, but I just didnt have time. It's a good thing you used your awsome photoshop skills to make it look as if they are there. That's hilarious.
To the guy who said his helmet would fall off, I plan on texturing it so it looks like its bolted to his head with blood coming out the neck and eye holes and so forth. Also considered putting hooks holding his mouth open. I picture him just running through the battle field shanking people.
Thanks for the comments so far, I'll post as he comes along.

Finally an update! Nothings super final yet but I'm pretty down with what he's bringin. Normal maps still to come most likely if I can manage to find time to do them. There's still a few seems to get rid of, but like I said, its in the works. Anyway, here he is. Rendered with 100% self illumination.

in the head shot the screw at the base of the blade is going back into space.
