Wanted:
We're interested in having detailed, coloured concept art built for two of our characters and a few weapons. We're also looking at character modelers (mesh, skin, animate) and uv/skinners to bring these concepts to life.

Characters Concept Art:
Front, back, side, close ups of the head and detail areas (ex. if there is an elaborate embellishment). No pose or action shots. Pre-colour and coloured would be perfered. These will be used as the blueprints for the 3d models.

Weapons Concept Art:
Side, top and perspective views. Pre-colour and coloured would be perfered. These will be used as the blueprints for the 3d models.

UV/Skin:
Models can support four 1024x1024 maps with normal, glow and alpha maps on top of them. Primarily organic models/skins.

Character models:
You'll be working with detailed character orthos to visualy relize the character. 10k poly limit with multiple 1024x1024 skins, knowledge of high poly/zbrush work is a major plus.

Animations:
You'll be bringing the weapons and characters to life using skeletal animation in either Max or Maya.

E-mail sent. I asked the questions there, although if I am not suitable for the job I would suggest reposting here so that others will know what is required in terms of character complexity and work.

Hi, you sould add the time you need the artist..
and perhaps how much work you need (some people just don't have 10 free hours per day /images/graemlins/wink.gif)

We're doing it on a per art asset basis (single model, drawing, etc.) the artist and we agree on a price for that asset and go from there. It's up to the artist to take the time to get the asset done in a timely matter (we are pretty flexible with time).

For the characters, you state that knowing hi-poly/zbrush would be a plus. Is that implying that they will need a high-resolution model for baking normals?

Yeah, it would be nice because the engine supports it we would like to use it.
