I am the Michael Jordan of Jenga.

Here I am putting on my game face. (http://mavra.perilith.com/~vito/photos/jenga1.jpg)

Here I am. Soaring. (http://mavra.perilith.com/~vito/photos/jenga2.jpg)

Now I need to unleash my massive Jengaman23 brand campaign on the world, but first, I need a trite and derivative logo produced.

Witness the eponymous Jumpman23 brand image. (http://www.nike.com/jumpman23/home/downloads/data/jumpman/1280x1024_jumpman/BW_jumpman_1280.jpg)

See how it captures Jordan's grace? His ability to levitate? I want something like that for me. Except different.

I'm shorter. 5'4" to be exact, 2'2" shorter than Mike. I'm fat. You can see my manboobs and my gut in the first photo. I have a bit of a fro. And I can't really jump too well. Think of it more as a spastic jerk that somehow gets me air. I need all of this captured in something that looks like a cruel, fatty spoof of the Jumpman23 brand. But well-drawn.

In other words, I want it to be a silhouette of ME soaring through a white background, and instead of holding a basketball, I'm holding a Jenga brick.

And I want a Jenga tower silhouette, too. Obviously, it should be bigger than me.

Something like this, except not crappy. (http://mavra.perilith.com/~vito/photos/jengaman23.jpg)

This is something you'll have to actually draw out; editing the Jumpman23 image isn't going to cut it. And I'd like it vector. This is work-for-hire, I get all the rights, you get paid.

Yes, I'm serious, damnit. Stop laughing.

omg vito, you ROCK! I would take this job, but unfortunately Im afraid I lack the technical skills to make such an awe inspiring thematic image.

Dear Michael Jordan of Jenga,

I am an artist and i work alot with vectors. I use photographs which i vectorize by hand. I could make you any logo. It would help alot if you had a high resolution photo of the pose you would want to be part of the logo. If you could shoot a photo of the pose you wanted i can be your man.

Check my site for my works especially the vector drawings section in the gallery http://www.radical-art.net

Cheers,

Hans

Look at the Jumpman23 image. It's not a tracing of Mike. It's a representation, a simulacrum, an idealized silhouette. This needs to be original.

Besides, if I could somehow take a high resolution photo of myself flying through the air towards a giant Jenga tower, I wouldn't need one drawn!

I could make the logo for you. Sounds like a pretty easy project. I have lots of experience working with vector art. If you want to see any examples of my work just let me know.

Ofcourse i can't compete the more experienced...
But it didn't stop me from putting something together. I show you a lil preview, it's only the top i am showing here.
And oh, it's all vector handdrawn and black and white if you want to. If it looks like what you need i got it up and ready to use.

P.s. Look at my avatar...

hahahha that's awesome.

But, not quite what I was going for. I very much wanted it to be in the style, pose and composition of the Jumpman23 brand. Stylized, not based on something real. Thanks for trying, though!

Alright this must be what you are looking for. The Jengaman23 brandlogo with your silhouette jumping to a Jengatower silhouette in a Michael Jordan pose.
If you look close your silhouette is actualy an excact drawing of you in that pose. He's got your hair, your glasses, your shorts and your shoes on and he has..... your proportions!

He wants it black and white anyway... You can make up any color combination... The green/white/black combo makes it sporty. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

It's getting awfully quiet in here.... I sent you a personal message with my rates, hope this doesn't turn out to be a fake post.

Squee! Jeremy Roland (indavisual on the forums) took me up on this and put together an absolutely perfect vector version of what I was looking for.

He says his portfolio and web site are coming soon, but I'm sure you can PM him and get a zip of his 2D and 3D work. Thanks, Jeremy!
