Haven't posted any of my work here in a while, I've been trying to concentrate more on my 2d skills lately as I find painting a lot of fun. Here's a bunch of doodles and such most of these are just quick paintings nothing more than a few hours at most.

these are sweet,
i like ur palette,
the last one of the first batch in particular.
won't hurt you to get tighter on just a few areas that would convey the perspective just enough to "dock" the viewer.. if just a few things sit right that's usually enough.
also,on a more personal taste, i'd push the ur cools, give things more depth. like on the 4th one landscape, if the mountains closer to the viewer were cooler (~darker value) they would come a lot closer to the viewer and create a feeling of depth where the warm horizon is much far away.
good work all in all, keep at it

Thanks a lot for the comments Shotgun, my color pallete is something i'm constantly struggling with, trying to make an image not too cool or too warm.
I appreciate any crits people can give me /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Here's one I did earlier tonight, it's probably a little too lose but i'm experimenting with layers and junk and throwin shit around. I'll probably just use this thread to throw all my painting junk in from now on.

Sweet stuff. It's not Flashback, but the Lucasarts adventure games is what comes to my mind when I look at those drawings. That HAS to be Indy, right?
The robot is the second post is pretty funky too. Would be interesting to see where you could take it if you finished the rest of the body.

I think that fat steambaby would look like you if we shaved your head, jordan. Maybe we could do that tomorrow at lunch?!
